Demonetization & Booth Capturing
Most of the political parties come to power by capturing election booths at the time of election.. Opposition parties adept to the trait use the same methodology to oppose the decision of demonetization of 500 and 1000 note to defame the Government in power. Through reliable sources I learnt that the opposition parties capture the ATM booths and Bank and keep their goons in the queues and get the electronic media to highlight their cooked story.
23rd November, 2016, I found all the ATM booths and Banks from Muthi to Kunjwani without any queue in wait.
In support of my view Indian Masses and National Crises 1962, Sunil Dutt performed a play Nefa ki aik raat at Bishna School in Jammu. He spread a white sheet of cloth and appealed the viewers to donate gold for purchase of weapons. My neighbour said that his mother donated her ear rings to Defense Fund.

Indian Masses & National Crises
Indian masses always at times of crises stood behind the Government like a rock. Banking upon this character of the masses, the government in power manages to bridge over the crises of whatever magnitude.
During the Chinese aggression in 1962, the Indian masses stood behind the Government lead by Pundit Jawaharlal Nehru. Kashmir was calm and did not fish in troubled water. Opposition did not exploit the situation. Indian masses especially women donated golden ornaments to the Defense Fund for purchase of arsenal.
Until 1965 India was short of food grains. Indian masses were fed on rotten supply of rice from America under PL 480. America in support of Pakistan during Pakistan Aggression threatened the Indian Government lead by Lal Bahadur Shastri that she would stop supply of food grains. Banking on the support of Indian masses, Lal Bahadur retorted that before she stopped the supply, India henceforth refuses the American supply. He resolved the problem and soon the country from deficit turned into a surplus country in food grains. This is power of Indian masses.
For the then Opposition, India was first and the Politics later on .
Demonetization of currency notes of 500 and 1000 has definitely caused crises to the general masses, but as usual, the Indian Masses have shown resilience to support the Government decision for the National good. Since 9th November 2016 to 22nd November 2016, I attended a number of marriages that were performed smoothly. All concerned suppliers did not let down the parents of the concerned boys and girls. They honoured payments by cheques and others agreed for deferred payments.
The only agency that is in distress is the Opposition. They are trying to create an anarchy They are instigating the Nationalist Indian masses.
Strange dictations to the Government, little knowing that homage or ex gratia relief to those who died a suicidal death or a natural death in queues will increase to their number.

"Hum ues desh kay vasee hain"
"Hum ues desh kay
vasee hain jo dunia ko munz athus kashuen latay hain;
khatay pitay hain auruen ko pareshan kurtay hain"
I expressed my sympathy with Mansoor (name changed) for his losses in his business due to hartal and continuous shutdown. for the last three months. Mansoor runs a shop at Abi Guzar in the close proximity of the Tyndale Biscoe School. Mansoor dismissed my apprehensions with a smile.
Mansoor said:"Dass Sabh under normal conditions from 9 AM to 9 PM our earning per day was not more than three thousand. Now under abnormal conditions our shops open at 5 PM and close at 8 PM and during these three hours we make brisk business with double earning and rest for 11 hours. We are happy with this procedure. We pray the procedure to continue. More people crowd during this limited hours of work around cosmetic and mobile shops than provision stores. The only sufferers are people engaged with public transport business. The Government is mistaken that normalcy will return with plugging of hawala money and foreign funding. On an average each couple in Government job gets regularly one lac. This is enough to sustain the shutdown. Strangely within the valley different departments have opened camp offices in the valley a little away from the more affected area to draw salary for the employees regularly and settle the pension cases of the employees about to retire. We enjoy. Na lugay heing na lugay phutkuree aur rung be lugay choka"
