          Some memories with G.M.Shah
Some unemployed candidates launched an union within two months after our results. I was selected as president & a pandit brother Saraf as Sectary. We get chance to meet G.M.shah, works minister in sheikh Abdullah cabinet. In 2ndmeeting assured that, within one-month list will be out & all Muslim can dates will be selected & only some non Muslims will be dropped before our sectary Saraf. As per promise when list of employed can dates was declared, all promises done by G.M.Shah were true. It indicates how much straight forward was G.M.Shah.
Mr.Saraf & many Muslim can dates offer their services for M.E.S, there only Saraf was selected, & Muslim can dates dropped. That is real picture of Indian secularism.
Then as chief minister while inaugurating a project, commissioned under my supervision, remind his promise done as works minister. As chief minister due to magic of Shiekh Abdullah, G.M.Shah was only received with an open arm in our area because of the support of our popular M.L .A.. So, often G.M.shah used to visit there. Resulting many unemployment & local problems were solved during that short region. These visits also give me chance to know more about G.M.Shah via my grand father.
Really he was a great administrator. As chief minister he was against the monopoly of bearcats. For tightening these elements, G.M.Shah, banned jeans paint in his regime, when Iqbal Khandy, with jeans tries to meet G.M.Shah.
During our official dispute with his M.L.A., when the case was referred to G.M.Shah, he decided the case as per principles & merit..  It indicates he was with some principles.
In 1st phase, there were some including G.M.Shah, willing to be part of movement. But some persons ignored thefact”every saint has past & every sinner future”. So this lack of wisdom kept away many bold capable dignities from movement. Also within boundaries many heroes were ignored, some became victim.
So let us recall Khalil Jibran
PITY THE NATION THAT IS FULL OF BELIEFS
AND EMPTY OF RELIGION
PITY THE NATION DIVIDED INTO FRAGMENTS
EACH FRAGMENT DEEMING ITSELF A NATION
